FIELD TRIP with Annie Parr
Oct 29 – Nov 2, 2025
El Campo | Baja California Sur, Mexico
A five-day creative retreat exploring movement, art, and the soulful pace of Baja.
Join Annie Parr for Field Trip—a five-day creative retreat exploring movement, rhythm, and presence through The Field, her lifelong practice merging authentic dance and vinyasa. Rooted in the modalities of MDRNYGA and SHIFT, Annie’s approach blends musicality, movement research, and contemporary dance technique with yoga off the mat—awakening both artistry and awareness.
Set against the slow, soulful backdrop of Baja, this retreat invites you to move, rest, and reconnect with yourself and the natural world.
The Experience
Field Trip blends dance, yoga, and contemporary movement to build strength, grace, and authentic expression. Rooted in Annie Parr’s practice, The Field, it’s a space for play, artistry, and embodied awareness—where music leads and movement follows.
Each day begins with energizing practice in El Campo’s open-air palapa studio overlooking the Pacific, and winds down with restorative sessions beneath the stars. Between classes, enjoy Baja’s beaches, gardens, and creative energy—or join the guided visit to Todos Santos for the vibrant Día de los Muertos celebrations on November 1.

KIND WORDS
Spending time at El Campo with Annie Parr was nothing short of transformative. The space itself is a sanctuary—intentionally designed, rooted in nature, and humming with creative energy. But it’s Annie’s presence that truly sets it apart. Her mastery of movement and deep intuitive wisdom created a container for both expansion and restoration. I arrived seeking space to breathe; I left with a sense of alignment I didn’t know I was missing. El Campo isn’t just a retreat space—it’s a return to self.
-Nicole Oge
The movement practice built on itself and centered the whole experience. I left feeling fully reset, inspired and whole and I hope to return on an annual basis. I can't recommend it more highly!
- Lisa Lombardi
Annie’s movement vocabulary was gentle, awakening, and challenging in the best ways. Her classes got into all the nooks and crannies of where my body had been stagnant and neglected for so long. It was eye opening. It really was the new beginning I needed to assist my body to heal and trust movement as the way through. She also did an incredible job of facilitating connection with the other participants who were strangers to me. It was fun, joyful, and connective.
- Rande Dorn
Waking up to the beauty of El Campo and starting the day with one of Annie’s classes was pure magic. As someone who doesn’t consider themselves a dancer, I felt totally at ease—and even in love—with the mix of movement, meditation, dance, and whatever other Annie alchemy is happening. Her classes create a real shift in body, mind, and spirit. And the music? Truly next level. It’s an experience that stays with you long after it ends.
- Robyn Shapiro
Annie is an incredible host and one of the best movement practitioners I've ever worked with. Her classes truly light people up and shift their energy immediately.
